Pawan Kalyan’s 11-Day ‘Prayaschitta Diksha’ From Tirupati Laddu Controversy
Andra Pradesh Deputy CM Kalyan Pawan has initiated an 11-day Prayaschitta Diksha at the Sri Dasavatara Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Guntur. This penance is undertaken to counter the recent allegations which claimed that ‘animal fat’ was used in the making of Tirupati Laddu Prasadam. Kalyan was evidently very much hurt over the whole issue, even going to the extent of accusing the authorities of the previous regime for the defilement of the sacred prasadam. During the time of his fast, he will pray to Lord Balaji for pardon and in relation to that, he will travel to date in Tirupati on October 1 and 2 to have his atonement fulfilled.
