All these procurement will be sourced from within the country thus supporting government’s initiative of making India self-reliant in the field of defence production. In order to improve helicopter survivability BEL will provide EW Suite while on battlefield ground based autonomous systems will enable unmanned operations. Induction of LMG and BLT will enhance fighting capabilities and movement of mechanised troops respectively.

India’s highly anticipated tour of England in 2025 will feature five Test matches, three T20Is, and three ODIs. To achieve this, the Test series is especially significant for India who has been trying to win its first series ever since 2007.
June to August will be the time frame for playing Test matches. In addition, there are plans for a T20I series when India plays England in January across five cities including Kolkata, Chennai, Rajkot, Pune and Mumbai among others. An ODI series from February includes games held at Nagpur, Cuttack and Ahmedabad.
The games are set to test each country’s strength; both teams would want to improve their rankings by ICC World Test Championship. It is India’s hope that they will overcome their troubles during their previous visits to England while home side aim at maintaining their trailblazing record against them I.e., tourists.
Subhadra Scheme: A Step Towards Women Empowerment in Odisha
Odisha’s Chief Minister Mohan Majhi has announced that they are going to implement Subhadra scheme for women empowerment during which women from 21 to 60 years will be empowered. This is one of the major promises made by the BJP government that aims at providing a sum of ₹50,000 over a period of five years to almost one crore women starting from financial year 2024 – 2025. The scheme has an overall outlay of ₹55,825 crore. Payment will be done directly through their Aadhaar linked bank accounts so that everything remains transparent in nature. It is important to note that this scheme does not include economically developed families nor those receiving substantial government payments already. Moreover, there will be additional.
Incentives for people with highest digital transaction volumes among other things as a way promoting digital payments among beneficiaries. Applications may need to be submitted at the selected centres by individuals who wish to take part in it while there will also exist a separate Subhadra Society responsible for its oversight and execution.
Shikhar Dhawan Bids International Cricket
The announcement came to be made by Shikhar Dhawan, a well-known face of Indian cricket, when he declared his retirement from international cricket at the age of 38. Having played his last game for India Dhawan retires with an outstanding record of 10,867 runs with the help of 24 hundreds and 44 fifties scored over 269 ODIs. He debuted on the global stage in 2010 but made headlines after being named Player of the Tournament during the 2013 Champions Trophy.
Together with Rohit Sharma, Dhawan formed an opening pair that scored a mind-boggling 5,148 runs, making them one of the most successful partnerships for ICC’s one-day matches involving countries at the moment. Even though his form had been dipping over time and he had not been selected for recent contests, Dhawan already told us about continuing his league-style career like IPL. Memorable ICC tournaments were part of his legacy and specifically in this regard is his gritty one hundred seventeen runs which he scored against Australia during 2019 World Cup; it remains one among those big moments of his life.
