Chinese Occupation In Ladakh
While speaking during an event at The National Press Club, Rahul Gandhi claimed that Chinese have taken over Ladakh region equal to Delhi size. He lambasted Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not handling border situation well enough and asked how would US react if a neighbouring nation captured part of its territory. Gandhi upon emphasizing on the gravity of the matter termed it as a catastrophe and he also spoke against Pakistan government’s involvement in terrorism that is directed towards Bharat. His comments have attracted flak from political opponents back home especially from governing BJP party and some others too.
IIT Guwahati Dean Resigns Amid Student Suicide Protests
The Dean of Academic Affairs at IIT Guwahati’s resignation comes as a result of heavy protests from students demanding accountability for the recent suicide of one of the B.Tech student. This is the third case of suicide on campus within this year alone after two incidents so far happened. Students contend that those in authority have poorly managed stress and pressures experienced by students in this distinguished institution. Rajya Sabha MP Vikramjit Sahney reported that the Bharatians allegedly deceived to join the Russian army contracts will be nullified very soon. Apparently, they were fooled into enlisting with the promise of big salaries, only to be discharged from the military later on. Sahney stressed upon immediate action is required for protecting these people and preventing any such instances occurring in future. Bharat is generating the greatest volume of plastic waste in the world
Bharat producing with estimates indicating that around 9.3 million metric tons are generated each year. Such figures present a shocking need for general measures to tackle plastic waste in the country. Despite various bans on some single-use plastics by the government, there is need for further initiatives to support sustainable alternatives, improve waste management systems and educate people on their responsibilities. Earthquake Tremors across Delhi-NCR
After 5.8 Magnitude shake felt in Pakistan, Earthquake Tremors experienced across Delhi-NCR.
