It is reported that during an intense session of the state assembly, Deputy Speaker Narhari Zirwal jump off the third storey of the building. According to the eyewitnesses, he looked quite agitated prior to the occurrence. He was quickly taken to the hospital close by for treatment. An investigation is ongoing regarding the causes leading to his actions which raises issues with regard to mental health and political pressures.

As per a recent study, Companies in India are likely to provide a median salary increase of 9.5% in FY25. Moreover, it shows that there is a healthy trend in employee pay during the economic comeback. Air India Express Flight Encounters Smoke at Thiruvananthapuram Airport
An Air India Express flight bound for Dubai from Thiruvananthapuram reported cockpit smoke shortly after take-off which led to an emergency turn back. The plane landed safely and all people on-board were rescued without sustaining any injuries. The cause of the smoke is being investigated and safety measures were observed during the incident.

The Supreme Court Disposes of Review Petitions Concerning SC Sub Classification
The Supreme Court has refused to entertain petitions which seek to overturn its earlier ruling on the sub-classification of Scheduled Caste(SC) communities. The court resolutely put forward its position when it said that the concern at hand is one which can only be resolved legislatively and not judiciously. This ruling is of utmost importance in the existing discourse regarding caste instances in India.
